TIMA will be very active between now and the end of the year. We will be testing a new format of meeting called "Subject Matter Expert" lunches in September. The multiple topic - multiple location meetings are intended to provide more conversations, be more accessible and reward TIMA members. If the format is successful we will build "SME" lunches into the 2012 schedule. If you would like to attend or be a SME presentor, join TIMA today!
As part of TIMA's educational mission we have partnered with small "un-conferences" and participant driven events to help spread the word about professional development in the Triaangle. September 17th & 18th TIMA is sponsoring NCDevCon - an interactive and web developers conference. It is economically priced and packed with great presentations and content. Check the link on our events page for more information.
In October we are pleased to have Paula Alexander, Director, Global Knowledge & Insights at Burt's Bees be our speaker on October 12th.
November features the official Internet Summit After-Party on Wednesday, November 16th at Spy.
December brings an opportunity to network with your peers from the AAF, AIGA, IABC, Social Carolina, Triangle AMA and TIMA at the biggest, baddest holiday party - The Merry Mingle on Tuesday, December 6th. This year's charity recipiant is the Triangle Spokes Group who provide brand new bikes & helmets for kids at the holidays.
Thank you for being a part of TIMA. Please contact me if you would like to become more involved or have any questions.
Best,
Janet M. Kennedy
President
