Andre Blackman Joins the Panel for TIMA’s “Healthcare Marketing: The Interactive Impact”

Triangle Interactive Marketing Association (TIMA) will host its 2nd event of the year featuring Richard Schwartz, Executive Director of WebMD, and a panel of top-tier Raleigh interactive marketers with digital and online experience in the healthcare industry. 

Andre Blackman, Director of Digital Communications and New Media for the American Heart Association, will join panelists Dave Harrell, Owner of Dave Harrell Advertising and Jeff Hill, Director of Digital Strategy & Technology for MedThink Communications this Thursday to discuss the latest trends, industry best practices and challenges in healthcare marketing.

As an Advisory Board Member of the May Clinic Center for Social Media and Co-Founder of the FastForward Health Film Festival, Andre brings a unique perspective and passion about the intersection of media, technology and innovative concepts about improving public health. He has been a featured speaker/commentator on a number of Public Health 2.0 related conversations around HIV/AIDS, mobile health, health disparities and new forms of health journalism, as well as worked alongside organizations such as the Black AIDS Institute, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the North Carolina Department  of Health and Human Services and the North Carolina Division of  Public Health.
